Great sleeves but they're definitely tighter than expected. The outside width is just under 7 5/16" wide (note, however, that that is the same width as a typical shipment of 2mil BCW sleeves!). The "problem", here, is that the thicker and less flexible plastic makes these significantly tighter. They're nice and snug for the majority of 45 sleeves [say 75% of indie picture sleeves from 1990 to present] but there are a significant number that no longer fit (compared to 2mil sleeves). I might have bought fewer if I had known*, but these are the best deal out there anyway.
* I did call to try to verify the true width, but the phone rep didn't have the info. At the very least, however, checkoutstore would do well to remove the line about "will hold either single or double albums", as most double 7"s are a definite no-go with these.
